Obituary for Beverly Johnson

Beverly entered this life on May 3, 1948 in Topeka, Kansas beloved daughter of James Leroy Dudley and Edith Bernice Campbell.
Beverly received her formal education from East Topeka Junior High and Topeka High School. Her early career was in childcare and later she worked in fast-food at Taco Bell and Chick-fil-A.
Beverly accepted Christ at a young age and was a member of First Church of God in Christ. In 2004 Beverly became ill and lost her eyesight. With her firm belief in God, faith kept her going as she endured dialysis three times a week for many years but her faithful shout of “hallelujah” gave her strength when she needed it. Since 2012 Bridgit "Pepper",Tyrone and her children were her full-time caregivers.
Beverly passed away on Thursday, February 1, 2018 at her home and is now on a victorious and eternal journey home with her Heavenly Father. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Edith Dudley; siblings, Gary Dudley, Brenda Dudley, Angela Dudley and Bernetta Dudley Stokes.

She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Bridgitv "Pepper" (Tyrone) Whitehead-Baggett; sons, Billy (Yolanda) Williams Jr. and Barry Marcell Johnson; grandchildren, Javon, Journey, Reign, Favour, Brenda and Brandy; one sister, Bonita Dudley-Campbell; brothers, Larry (Dorothy) Dudley, Terry Dudley, and Roy Dudley. She also leaves a host of other relatives and friends.
